This Personalization Principle was applied in the creation of this eLearning course. It contains a conversational agent that leads the learners through the course, as well as many interactive elements to increase learner engagement.

Through this activity, I gained a better understanding of how to use the Personalization Principle in instructional design. Because I used Articulate Storyline for development of the module, I gained experience in applying this principle in development. 

Description:

In this task, I analyzed a multimedia learning example to determine whether it followed instructional design learning theory best practices. The paper provides a link to the video that was analyzed, as well as graphics illustrating learning theories.

Skills Developed:

This task provided a valuable opportunity to review the work of someone else and examine what did and did not align with instructional design best practices. As an instructional designer, this is a needed skill, and receiving feedback on my review helped me improve as a reviewer.
